  • To fix this a 3/8" flat stock the same width x length of spring perch with a hole for the pin /bolt holding spring together and the new pin with off set needed to center the wheels in the fender ,used a 5/16 " Allen cap screw, drill & tapped spacer ,WARNING:drive shaft must be long enough for this change , may have to lengthen drive shaft or scoot engine back, I have seen lowering blocks that have adjustable pin but are too thick unless you are adjusting the rear height too ,

  • A lot of the older restorations where that way. The factory Chevy had the wheels set up the same way..

  • Agreed; lookin' good! One thing; it could be my eye, but from your side view pic, it looks like the rear wheel isn't centered in the fender opening. It looks to be 1-2" forward from center. Is there any adjustment possible on the leaf spring axle perch?
