You have stumbled upon one of the nicest survivor 53's out there! It may not have a big block or custom suspension but what it does have is history. This car was cared for meticulously by a single owner. It was bought in Fort Worth, TX in 1953 and hasn't left since. Its never missed an oil change or had any problems that were not promptly fixed. The 235 cubic inch Blue Flame inline 6 isn't the original engine but runs just as strong. The car has no problem cruisin' down the road while saving gas the whole time. The "three on the tree" 3 speed transmission shifts smoothly and is easy to use. The car is coated in beautiful two tone paint with Mountainside Green on the bottom and Campus Cream on top. All of the stainless/chrome trim is in place and in good condition. The bumpers have zero pitting and look like new.The interior is finished out in matching Mountainside Green and a lighter Green (believed to be Surf Green). The dash and steering wheel are all a matching Mountainside Green and are both in great condition. The dash is all completely original and even has the original style radio. The trunk is finished out in black and even has a spare wheel with Green cover. The car comes with multiple pieces which can be often very time consuming to find such door handles, hubcaps, bumper pieces, chrome inline six valve cover and much more. This car is truly worth every penny, if not more. Everything works and it is a GREAT driver. It was cared for dearly by a single owner its entire life (56 years). Don't miss this opportunity! It won't last long at $17,250.00!! NOW REDUCED TO $12,500.00!
