This is an an absolutely gorgeous, numbers matching, ’70 Coronet that was completely restored and has been meticulously kept up and driven.
The body was completely stripped and painted factory burnt orange then color sanded and polished. It has a factory correct vinyl top and all the factory chrome and trim have been replated and polished. The car has the original glass and the rubber gaskets have been replaced throughout. The trunk has been detailed and is complete with the factory mat. The original spoiler is included with the sale, including all brackets, and has also been restored and painted should you desire to put it back on.
The interior has been redone with a factory correct kit in matching color including the bucket seats headliner, console, shifter, door panels, dash, black carpets, Coronet burnt orange mats, sill plates, new Mopar gauges including water temp, oil pressure, volt and tachometer. There is brand new wiring throughout, a stock factory dash panel that has been restored with clock. A Sony AM/FM, in-dash cassette with remote and 10-disc CD changer in the trunk and Infinity speakers. Original radio also goes with the sale but needs knobs.
The engine is a completely rebuilt 383ci V-8 that has been bored to a 388ci by ABCO machine with Tri-Power manifold and carburetors and factory 6-Pack air cleaner. It also has a Sanden, air conditioning compressor/condenser, power steering unit, power brake system with vacuum pump/canister, Optima gel battery, 4 core radiator and belts/hoses which were all replaced new during restoration. The power gets to the ground through the factory 727 Torqueflite transmission with shift kit and stock rear-end.
The chassis has new, rebuilt or replaced front suspension, 8 3/4 differential, KYB gas shocks in front and rear, stainless steel 4-piston disc brakes in front, rebuilt factory drums in the rear and front sway bar.
The wheels are 15? factory Magnum 500’s with Perfect Center knock–off caps sitting on BF Goodrich TA radial tires. The car comes with the original service manual as well.
This car was appraised at $45,000.00 and the restoration receipts are in excess of that alone. All Mopars are rapidly appreciating and this one is no different.
