pdates To Streetrodding.com Hello Everyone. We are moving along with the updates to the web site. We are hoping to be ready by the end of next week. One change that we will be making after we get the new page up and running is adding a separate page for the Classic car dealers that advertise with us. With so many ads being placed by vendors it pushes the single car ads to the back of the list. We do like having the vendors advertise with us but we want to maintain the importance of the individual streetrodder.

I have decided to just go stock type axle instead of m-11 style or even volare. Will take all suggestions with great joy!!!! (who ever joy is)

Drat! Trying to get my car done to go to Louisville for the Nats. Just put a 350 Chev and a 200-4R tranny in. Motor is done runs great. I always build my own tranny's but due to time constraints, I purchased one rebuild from a shop out of state. They came with good recommendations from friends. The trans won't move period. The fluid is full, the mechanical linkage is hooked up and all TV linkage is adjusted. Here's the catch....all the min/max line pressures are to spec so the pump is working and converter ... I just rebuilt my 400 cu-in engine. I had the engine bored from to 4.155 , I bolted everything back in place . Same cam same dist. same comp. ratio everything is the same. Adjusted the valve as per specifications. When I started the engine , it idled for few second , then popped and die. When I removed the rocker arm during taking apart , I did not unscrew the jam screw on the rocker arm nut, so during assembly , it would be a lot easier to tighten the rocker nuts in the same position and then fine tune ... I'm on the road and the amp gauge needle is jumping like crazy. got 14.03 volts at all rpms, 12.4 when engine is off. Electronic voltage regulator, light bulbs flicker slightly. I know need to dump the amp gauge and go with the volt gauge. Any ideas what would cause this?. probably will not gonna see the answers until the charging system goes out and I'm stuck at a hotel. but would be nice to log on and see what to do Thanks in advance, Glenn

Just finished building a chevy "383" stroker motor and am looking for a good hi-torque mini starter . This has a compression around 10.0 to 10.5 to 1 . I found one in speedway motors web site # 91066300, not sure is it would be a good one to get . Any ideas ?

I have a mystery noise in my '33. It is related in some way to the trans, clutch, or somewhere between the flywheel and the drive shaft. I'm not going to pull it apart until winter unless it gives up before then. These are the symptoms, and the symptoms appear maybe once in a hundred stops. I've never felt this noise or vibration between shifts, only when stopped at a light. I'm running a stroker small block with GM flywheel, pilot bearing, Centre force dual friction clutch, steel input shaft collar, s ... Read All ...
