Biffs Annual Show 2008
classic cars, hot rods and street rods for sale
| Woke up this morning at 5:30 to cloudy/windy skies..... looked like rain for sure... otherwise the overcast and wind made for a cool day (if the rain would just hold off). I had to go to the shop and hook up the kick down (ATV) on the tranny before heading over for breakfast and a good parking spot (i.e., in the shade NOT power parking). The gang already had a canopy up and were in eating breakfast when I arrived. Turns out the threat of rain may have kept some cars away (i was #115) and there was still plenty of room. I took pictures and talked with folks (Gene was there with his 37 Phaeton). I got to see some cars I haven't seen before, always a good thing. Our own Melanie won a "top 50" with her blue 39 ford coupe. The rain finally did come around 2:00 in the afternoon and a few of us took off. Don't quote me but I believe Biff's is the #3 contributor in the USA to "Toys-For-Tots"...... In addition to the annual show is a cruisein every Friday night at Biff's. Saturday night is bike night.... come out, check out the cars, have some great food and join in the fun. |
