1939 Plymouth business coupe. This pro-street beastie is a real ground pounder. 468 BBC with big roller cam and rockers, 10.75/1 CR, dual quad tunnel ram with a pair of trick Holley 650 double pumpers, Accel high output coil controlled by an MSD ignition module, long tube headers feed 3 inch collectors and exhaust/mufflers with side outlets. The engine feeds a 2500 RPM stall B&M converter and "built" super duty 350 trans controlled by a B&M shifter. This feeds a narrowed Chrysler third member with 3.40/1 ratio. The front is clipped with a Camaro assembly running front disk brakes. The rear is clipped with a ProFab pro-street assembly setup with four bar, panhard rod and adjustable coil-overs. The trunk holds an aluminium 10 gallon fuel cell feeding a chassis mounted filter and high capacity fuel pump. The trunk also holds a 1000 amp Nascar type battery but there is still plenty of room for your "stuff". The radiator is a heavy duty 4 row copper unit with a 2700 CFM pusher fan mounted.

The body is all steel. New smooth steel running boards, lots of NOS chrome and bright work, new trunk hinges, new tinted glass, new rubber and felts, fender liners installed. The interior is done in grey cloth/velour, new headliner, door panels, package tray, etc. Dark grey carpet over heavy floor padding. GM tilt column with Grant wheel, new full gauge set with column mounted Sun Super tach. Hanging brake pedal with power booster mounted behind the firewall, power steering too. The car has a complete Painless wiring assembly with a modern fuse panel. Seats are out of a 95 Pontiac Grand Am and upholstered to match the interior.

The car sits on Weld Drag Star wheels, 15X5 in front and 15X14 in the rear fitted with Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. This car is not quite show quality after 6 years and 2000 miles, but it could be again with very little work. This car needs to be driven and gets attention, lots of attention, wherever it goes. One last item....It has a killer sound system, CD, big speakers, 1000 watt amp, etc., but it never gets used. The engine makes all the music. This car couldn't be built today for twice the asking price
