The engine is a 383 Stroker fully built with 195cc Air Flow Research heads, Forged speed pro -12cc dished pistons, eagle H-beams rods, Forged steel crank. The block is .030 over and has steel 4-bolt splayed main caps. Crane roller cam 234i/242e .547i/.558e. Roller Rockers, forged pushrods, crane valve springs. ARP studs and bolts throughout. Performer RPM intake manifold with edelbrock 750cfm carb. MSD billit distributer, MSD wires, MSD 6AL box, MSD boost timing master. Everything is balanced and blue printed. Will rev safly to 8000 RPMS. Engine was built in july of 2005. Has about 10,000 miles on it. Flowmaster exhaust with full length headers. Last 1/4 mile track run was 13.07 et at 105+ Mph and the car spun the tires. Car should run 12's with a good launch the way it sits.
I built the engine for boost. Its will hold 800 hp easy. At the moment it is naturally aspirated and it has about 400 hp. Engine runs great and pulls strong. My big plan was to run a big turbo.
The transmission is a T-56 6-speed manual. It was rebuilt with stronger shift forks in July 2005. Aluminum flywheel with centerforce dual friction clutch. At 90 mph the car barely revs 2400 rpms. The cars capable speeds are well in access of what I am willing to push. I have had it over 155 mph at the top of 4th gear.... 2 more gears to go. That was fast enough for me.
The rear end is an 8.5 10 bolt with auburn limited slip and 3.42 gear ratio. Slotted cross drilled power disc brakes.
8 pt. roll cage, sub frame connectors, lift bars and ladder bars. Poly bushings throughout entire chassis. 1 1/8" swaybar, Alpine stereo, fiberglass front clip. Custom daytona blue paint with silver racing stripes fading into flames.
Car has vintage air Retro-fit ICE COLD A/C!! Now sports Staggered 18" Foosse wheels & 555 nitto tires. |
