A little more about the Atta Boy Winner from Paducah
December 29, 2006 By
This car was found and partially restored by a man in Charleston, IL. The car then found its way to Keith Sparks, and was completely re-restored. Today, it is powered by a 1984 Corvette 350 cubic inch engine and 350 transmission. A Posey Superslide rear suspension was installed to smooth out the ride of the vehicle so now it rides and drives just like a new Cadillac. Other unique features are the 1976 Chevrolet Caprice frame from the bulkhead forward, tilt steering wheel in addition to vintage air-conditioning and heating. The interior had been beatifully trimmed with white rolled-and-pletted seats, door panels and headliner finished with black carpeting. The trunk compartment matches the interior perfectly. The paintwork is a Pitch Black with candy colored flames flowing from Wineberry to Candy Apple to Pagan Gold to Candy Green tips. The flames all over silver metallic base. The car turns heads everywhere it goes. This automobile is racking up quite a resume, winning area Best of Show awards and most recently the StreetRodding.com "Atta Boy" award in Paducah Kentucky.
