History of StreetRodding.com
It all started in 1998 with an idea that Rodders need a place to go to find street rods for sale, car show information, swap meets, local clubs and cruisenights or technical expertise for their cars.

| StreetRodding.com started as a way for a father and son to spend more time together. Back in 1998, BigAl and Eriq were having lunch at Biff's in St Petersburg, FL and thinking of common interests they shared that would allow them to spend more time together. BigAl has been a classic Rodder his entire life yet Eriq grew up in the computer geek model and would rather fool around on the computer and internet than tinker under the hood. The rest is history. The idea came up to mesh the two into a website where rodders could go to post pictures of their cars and to view and interact with others. Over the years it has evolved to what it is today and as technology presents more opportunities it will continue to evolve and become more and more interactive! |
