1930 Michigan licence plate

Spring srart up problem
Went to fire up the 34 SBC BDS blower, 2 4bbs. Fuel on top of the left and right front four pistons. pulled plugs and blew out excess fuel drained oil, fuel in oil change filter. Add new oil. What else should I do before fire up? Should I sq

Small block blower motor.
Fact or fiction? Someone told me if I drive my blower motored 34 Coupe, no hood with an air scoop and 2- 4's in the rain, water will accumulate in the cylinders and possible cause internal problems, like bent rods. This person is a reputable rac

Rear coilover spring weight rating.

Front wheel spacing. s10 clip
I am helping a friend who has installed a Chev S-10 clip on a 47 Ford Chassis. What procedure is used to space the front wheels about 3 inches outward. Does one use a reversed rim or are there wheel spacers available to get this done. What is reccomended

Vega cross steer adjustment
I have a 34 Ford with a Vega cross steering set up. I purchased a billit cover for the Vega box. I now have a stiff ,sticky area at about one quarter of a turn both ways. Is there a process for setting the adjuster screw, or a place to start.. Lyled

Starter shim process.
I purchased a new Tuffstuff gear reduction starter and it came with four shims. On start up the starter doesn't completely disengage as quickley as I would like. When the engine is running the flex plate just touches the drive gear.

Freeze plug aluminum dress up covers

SBC identity
I was given a SBC engine today and was told it was a 1970 Chev Truck engine. Can anyone help Identify it. It has a 2 quart oil filter, a spread bore manifold, cast iron, there is no id number on the right side block boss, the block cast number is 3856618
