1940 ford deluxe coupe value?????
I've found a '40 Ford coupe. One owner for 40 years. Engine, trans, and rear axle are gone, interior shot (mice), floors and trunk floors need replaced, the frame looks solid and has the original wishbone/front axle, intact. Minor rot in the door bottoms.

1948 Dodge Panel
Buddy, just bought a panel. We are debating the stock frame with new, modern front and rear versus a frame swap. Wheelbase is 108", the same, i think, as SwB S10. Anyone built one of these?

chopping a 40 ford pickup

GM ring gear identification
Just pulled the cover off a GM 12 bolt. The ring gear is stamped GM 386689 13 43 10 69; if memory serves the first eight digits are the part number, the 13 & 43 are the number of teeth on the gears (gear ratio=3.30), and the 10 69 is month and year of man

removing keyed lug nuts...w/o the key

rejuvenating old rubber grommets, seals, etc.

Need help with ignition problem
A buddy is running a mild small block in a '39 Chevy. Going to Lville it blew two ignition coils on the interstate, ran fine at the show, and blew two more coils on the trip home; about 300 miles. He's getting about 100 miles per coil! The good news is

guesstimate on 39 Pontiac
I found this today. 4967 miles on odometer. Original drivetrain, interior (I think), no rot in doors or fenders, headliner is intactm floor pan has some holes but not a lot. Original mats in trunk and it has a 2005 state inspection sticker. I DIG the Silv

Driveshaft question
To allow for suspension travel, how much clearance should there be between the transmission housing and the u-joint end of the driveshaft yoke on a TH350/GM 10 bolt setup? This is on a '39 Chevy Master Deluxe 4-door. Thanks.
