wipers
have any of you guys ever took apart a stock chevrolet wiper transmission unit ( chain drive setup for 46-48) before? if so how did you do it ? I need to take mine apart to have bezels chromed. Also are any of you guys running an electric motor

Paducah Picture

radiator
can the trans. cooler holes in my walker radiator be left open? i am using a remote cooler instead of the radiator cooler and can not find a plug for these holes that does not stick out so far that they hit my cooling fan. the radiator is rea

have any of you heard of a rear main seal on a small block chevy starting to leak after replacing a flexplate and torquing its bolts? I did not have a leak before but now I do. If I replace the rear main seal is it a good idea to check the torque on all t

bent pushrods
a buddy of mine has a two year old completely stock chevy 350 crate motor with 20,000 miles on it in his streetrod. two times in the last year when he starts it up cold it has bent a pushrod. what could be causing this?

thm350 transmission bolt torque specs.

ignition wiring question
a few months ago I had a problem with the ignition on my car (39 Chevy). It quit running. power wire burned in two inside the wiring harness. as a fix I ran a power wire direct from the fuse box on a circuit marked fused ignition (old GM glass fused box)

I need a left front fender for a 48 chevy coupe. I have found a NOS 42 chevy fender. I have been told it can be used with just a "little" modification for the parking lights. Has anybody out there done this before. Would appreciate any help from anybody t

ignition problem
Help!! I have a 305 chevy engine with HEI distibuter in a 39 Chevy. Car would not start . No fire at plugs ,12 volts at coil. put in new ignition module and coil. Car started. went on trip in car 100 miles. on way home car backfired once and died (go

another vibration problem
I have a 1939 Chevy with a 1979 305 sbc and turbo 350 trans. The car has a harmonic vibration in park, neutral or in drive going down the road. I have installed a new balancer, motor and trans. mounts and tightened the torque converter to flexplate bolts.
