At StreetRodidng.com everyone has a voice and everyone has something useful to contribute to the community. The User Blogs have been created to give each member a central place to "blog". Blogging is basically the same thing as a Discussion Forum and very similar to an online diary. You can come to the site whenever you want and post your thoughts on rodding, post tips to users, post questions for experts and generally "blog". Other visitors to the site will be able to find you quickly and easily from your "home page" or from links on message postings, car ads, emails, etc. Any Blog that you start will be listed here for others to read.

a buddy of mine has a two year old completely stock chevy 350 crate motor with 20,000 miles on it in his streetrod. two times in the last year when he starts it up cold it has bent a pushrod. what could be causing this? |

I have a 1939 Chevy with a 1979 305 sbc and turbo 350 trans. The car has a harmonic vibration in park, neutral or in drive going down the road. I have installed a new balancer, motor and trans. mounts and tightened the torque converter to flexplate bolts. |
