At StreetRodidng.com everyone has a voice and everyone has something useful to contribute to the community. The User Blogs have been created to give each member a central place to "blog". Blogging is basically the same thing as a Discussion Forum and very similar to an online diary. You can come to the site whenever you want and post your thoughts on rodding, post tips to users, post questions for experts and generally "blog". Other visitors to the site will be able to find you quickly and easily from your "home page" or from links on message postings, car ads, emails, etc. Any Blog that you start will be listed here for others to read.

Overheating Problem has me Stumped!
My 41 Ford pickup with an 80's Chevy small block, turbo 350 and mild cam has been overheating like crazy. It has a new Walker radiator, electric fan and shroud. New 185 degree thermostat, new hoses and new (correct rotation)high-flow aluminum water pump.

"Grinding" small-block starter
I recently purchased a truck with an 80's Chevy small-block engine. It makes a 'grinding' or 'gnashing' noise when starting. It doesn't have the 'smooth' sound you normally hear when starting a small block. I have shimmed (stagger-bolt mount) up AND down

Leaning Model A Coupe
My 28 Model A leans to the left by 1 1/2 inches. The frame is straight and the front leaf spring has no broken leaves. It has a 4" dropped axle which is also straight. I was wondering if anyone knows if adjustable spring perches can corrrect the lean

TIG Welder Recommendations

Missing VIN Number plate
I just sold a car to somone which had a custom frame and an altered steel body with no VIN numbers anywhere. He is now having trouble getting it registered in his state even though there is a legal title to the car. The VIN number on the title was issued

I just completed building my dream shop and I've been shopping for a lift. I've looked at Ben Pearson, Eagle, Bend Pak, Team Lift and Autolifters just to name a few. Except for Ben Pearson and Eagle most lifts fall withing the $2200 range for a 9,

HVLP Sprayguns
I'm looking to purchase an HVLP spraygun and I don't understand the cost and features of what's available. I've seen them priced from $30 to $500. Can someone elaborate on the differences and what accounts for the wide range of prices? Thanks.

Drill Press Chuck Problem
I was attempting to drill some 5/8" holes in a pair of coilover brackets and the chuck on my drill-press came off. It is a taper fit chuck and no matter how clean it is I can't get it to stay on. Does anyone know how to solve this? I'm ready to get the mi

Tire Lettering Restoration
I acquired a vintage set of Hoosier tires with white lettering that has faded significantly. Does anyone know of a paint(?) or product that can restore the white color to the lettering?
