Get off the trailer and drive

We have seen the street rod front end go thru lots of changes. From dropped axle, to reversed Corvair, Torsion bar and on to MII. What will be next that we can fit under the fender of say a 33 Ford to help make it handle and ride better?

the best thing to come out lately in my opinion is the split I beam that hinges in the middle. Old time looks coupled with new style road haandling. never rode in one yet, but like the idea.
