Here at StreetRodding.com BigAl, Tammy and I everyday have to make decisions that affect more than 7,000 daily visitors to this site. As you can imagine, no decision will ever make 100% of you happy so our job is to find a balance which maximizes the amount of satisfaction of our visitors. Consequently, when a thread starts to get too personal, too vindictive, too repetititive, etc. then we will take action to delete said thread. We aren't taking any one side of any particular issue when we do so, we have the greater community to keep in mind. If the casual visitor or even hard core member begins to see this forum as nothing but petty squabbles or that members are not treated with respect then soon enough they will stop coming here and we can't have that happen. We hope you will all understand that we must think of everyone and our considerations are not only who is right or wrong but how a thread, taken in the sum of everything else, contributes to the overall theme of friendship and rodding There are plenty of sites out there that we all know that are not as popular or have fallen by the wayside because of their divisiveness and rudeness to others, we will not be one of those sites! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! Eriq |
