Hey Guys, I've been a member of this board for a while now but don't post much. Mostly Lurk. But I do have a question. The insurance is due on the '30 Coupe. I currently have Parish Heacock (Great American Insurance Co.) They are spinning off their Clasic Car business to a company called Infinity. I currently pay $259.00/Year for a $20,000 policy that limits me to 3000 miles a year. Never had a problem with the milage limitation. Just wondered what you folks are using, haw much you pay, and who you like and dislike.Any input would be appreciated.

Denny

I currently have Great American through Midwest Classic Insurance and also with the mileage limitation of 5k, which is substantially more than I drive these days. The rates for both of my cars are very reasonable (less than $360). I used to have Hagerty their service was excellent but I found their rates a little pricey (about $600) for the same two cars (one street rod and one custom) and same coverage. I have not heard from Midwest as to how spin off will afftect my policy, but I also have given thought to switching to Grundy as I have heard that they have excellent service and fair rates as well.

I have Grundy, on the 39. Thought it was reasonable. Don't know about when it comes to a claim. Hopfully won't have to find out.

We pay less than $300.00 for the two Camaro's per year but I wish I could find a happy medium. This plan is great but we cannot ever drive the cars to work. For me that is a drag......

Thanks guys. Most folks seem to prefer Grundy. And, for most guys, Grundy is easy to work with and they are less $$$$. I never thought about the flatbedding rider but I may check into that. Sure would be nice to have.

Why I wish I had Hegarty is for the flatbed use. Something like $15 extra for three flatbed uses a year. Having had to have my car flatbedded twice in the last four years it cost me a total of $235 for flatbedding.

I also have Grundy, never had a claim, but liked the no limit on mileage.

I also have Great America through Midwest--Pay 460 a year for both my cars with milage restrictions which I rarely meet. Got a quote from Grundy which was over $100 a year less. Am thinking about it

I've found the most resonable insurance to be State Farm, I pay $240 a year for $35,000 and no milage limitation.
