I am in the process of building a steel body 27 model t roadster pickup. I am trying to decide on a power train and I think I want to use a 4 cyl with a standard shift. I am leaning towards using one of the iron 4 cylinders out of an early Chevy II if I can find one. I am working with a 100 inch wheel base chassis so I don't want to go with anything too long. Does anyone have any other ideas for a powerplant. This isn't going to be a rat rod but will look like it was built in the early 60's. Thanks for your input. |
