1943 Oldsmobile rocket. Robert E. Olds.The star was a symbol of the state of Texas meaning that it was made in Holcom City that is no longer incorprated. Now have I got some land for sale.!!!!
Pretty sure Higgy is right. Just helded a buddy of mine graft this type nose on a 39 C.O.E. Ford car hauler he's building. We popped the nose off a 37 Olds.
Yep, Higgy is correct. Here's a link that shows a 37 Olds. The piece in the picture is actually the lower valance panel below the grill. I told my nephew that you guys would be able to solve the mystery - thanks Higgy! and...no he didn't get it...as far as we know, it's still setting somewhere in Idaho. Hey Ted...we made it.. (insider info guys)

dose'nt look like any olds i've seen. not enough bars in the grille. i thumbed thru my book but did'nt see anything close. better pic would help . or are you just screwing with us hawg
