I have a 350 SBC in my '40 Tudor. It's running an Edelbrock Model 1405 600 cfm carb. The builder ran the PCV to the fitting on the front of the carb, but there is a pipe plug screwed into the back which would make routing the PCV tubing closer an less obtrusive.

Can I use a rubber tubing cap over the front fitting and install a fitting in the back to connect the PCV?

The suggestions on re-wiring my car were VERY helpful.

I'm new at this StreetRodding hobby so I do appreciate any and all comments.

The plug on the back is for the power brake plumbing. He has it hooked up correctly. Here's a "shade tree mechanic" tip, For those who don't like paying for high dollar chrome tubing, and this isn't for every application, Home repair stores sell the chrome plated copper tubing and compressing fittings you see under sinks for plumbing in different lengths. Bends easy with bender and makes for a cleaner look at fraction of the cost from rod store. Also good for running wires through. Plumb it from carb back to pcv valve and just use a short connector hose.

"crash12888" you say The plug on the back is for the power brake plumbing." Can it also be used for the vacuum for a TH 350 trans?
