Guess this guy should have had better control of his patience. Punched the gas, rear wheels broke loose, ran into concrete/steel pole. OUCH!. Gives new meaning to the phrase "Found On the Road Dead" (FORD)

Ford is closing the main assembly plant in Wixom, the GT is assembled in a smaller building just to the west ( 500 feet ) from the main assembling plant building. I had heard that the GT assembly will continue operations for now. That is as long as stupid rich guys keep running in to things.

One Ford GT, $150,000

Paying your dealer over MSRP, $75,000

Having more money than brains, PRICELESS.

Ford is going to close the Wixom, Michigan plant in September where the GT is built. They claimed in the Detroit News they had planned it as only a two year build anyway. They have only built a little over 1300 so far. List $150,000. To get one from a dealer $250,000! According to a friend of mine who talked to a Ford salesman.

GT's were going for $250K, if you had the chance to bid on one. Yes, dealers were REALLY getting $100K over sticker! Now you can get one for about $25K to $50K over sticker. Not that I have that kind of money!

A fat fendered Ford with a GT drivetrain you say? That's EXACTLY what was at SEMA this year. I can't beleive I can't find a photo of it, but will post one soon! Convertible '40 Ford!
