I'm thinking about changing the taillights on the delivery and was thinking about a 38-39 lenses...do you have a set and what is the measurement top to bottom on them? I'm looking to put them over some existing slots.

I'm with Orphan on this one. Can't have to much light out back. The LEDs are very directional which means they would have to be close to vertical at eye height for the driver behind to see you in plenty of time. I have been toying with the idea of building a set that would sort of wrap around the cornor of the Willys delivery. Several companies do that sort of thing and there is no need of a large reflector inside the cab. At this point it may be necessary to do alot of the building(and educating) yourself. Would have a large wow factor.

If you're talking about the 39 teardrop tail lights, and if the angle you will mounting them to is not too great, save yourself a headache (or a rearender) and get the ones with LED lights. LED's are a bit directional, so the mount angle should not be too much greater than 35 degrees from perpandicular (the more perpendicular the better). The original glass lenses with the standard bulbs are really lousy for lighting. People won't see you until they are nearly on top of you. Depending on the situation they could be literally on top of you. I have originals on one car and on a Mullins trailer. Thinking about getting LED's for both. I don't have mine with me right now, but the glass lense is about 4' in length and about 2" wide at the widest. The frame adds abut 5/16ths more to the edge.
