Ok guys..I've got the big lenses in the 35 and I haven't been able to find a swap to fit a regular 7 inch sealed beam in the bucket. I do have the halogen bulbs in them but I get a floodlight effect at night. My next thought is to take a 7 inch sealed beam and silicone it to the back of the lense and (hopefully) get a better beam out of the headlights....my question is....do you think it'll work????? By moving the bulb/beam closer to the lense I'm hoping to get past the lense with a straighter beam.

if your still going to use the stock headlight lenses, the stock lenses will defuse the light, no mater what you put behind it. those lenses were made for going around 40 mph, and are cut to throw the light out not aiming it out like todays lighting.

Here's the contact 35. I posted it here as it might help a few others with light dilemas. Apart from the Fords, he's also a Willys nut so you Willys guys could see the light too!

ps. prices are Australian $. $1AUD = 75c USD (approx, as it varies)

There's a guy here that specialises in re-coing old headlights. For 35 Fords he uses a Volvo light which is 7 1/4" apparently and has a halogen bulb. I've seen them, they look the goods. Don't know which Volvos, but obviously one of the older ones with round headlights!

The openings in the trim rings are 7 1/8 so a 7" will just fall through. I'm interested in the Volvo headlight guy..any contact info on him?? I've already got the halogens and big reflectors but the lenses just suck.
