Thanks Sloper, that explains it all.All I can say is WOW what an issue.Your right ,if they cold put out six issues a year, that would be great.Hey,they also did a great job on the 50 year of Rod and Custom.

The 50 Years of Rod & Custom is a fantastic book. My dad got it for me for Christmas. I've read it cover to cover 3 times now!

In my humble opinion TRJ has lost a little 'something' since Pat Ganahl has moved on. Still love every issue though.

The truth is... they're printed in Asia and our supplies are sent straight to the distributor here, so we get 'em first. Most of us "subscribe" through the local distributor - they're listed in the back of the book. If I subscribed to HQ, they'd go all the way over there and have to come back again, which is why I stopped subscribing that way. I could cope with at least 6 issues a year, and this new one's a killer! I tried to stretch out the reading, but ... I ran out of pages.

The R&C book is great. Many have commented that one of the best ideas they had was to include every cover. Sure helps to id the missing ones.

Pat's fantastic. He's a car guy and it shows. He has areal empathy with his subject and tells it from the heart. His reign at R&C was one of the best also.
