John, please keep in mind there are special "high temp" powders out now that are advertised to be good to 1000 degrees. Please feel free to give me a holler to check on color availability and a quote.

Hey, better late than never! :-) Besides, you know how it is with project cars ... they don't always get done overnight and not every builder is on the same schedule. (I've had my Cuda for over 16 years and it's still not "done" LOL) I read it, so maybe potential customers might read it too. I'm just trying to get involved in the site (per Tammy Pritchett's advice) and get my name out there. Thanks for humoring me!!!

LOL! Yes, that's me. And I'm more than happy to help you make that old truck look as good (or better)!!! Sorry about the new replies to an older post guys, but I'm sure there's new people out there who read them just like I did. I'm just taking some advice from one of the StreetRodding.com PR ladies and trying to get involved and get my name out there. I can't afford to advertise on the site in their Business section yet but hopefully will be able to do so soon. Thanks for the compliment BigDude. Ya made my day!!! Well duhhhhhhhh I guess it would help if I had the address right -- I had a "y" where the "p" was supposed to be. (Even redheads have occasional blonde moments ...) Try this one instead:

Wowwwwww I have some catchup to do ... nice to see how active this site is and how involved everyone gets. I hope to be a valuable asset among many.
Pooch, thanks.
Wayne, thank you, as well, for the warm welcome. I can already tell I'm in great company.
TyChooChoo, my shop isn't in Phoenix, it's in Tennessee. It's so named because we're 'rising from the ashes' of Hurricane Katrina and slowly trying to get back on our feet in a new place. Thanks for the offer, but I already have my slightly used Catholic -- his name's Billy and he's the proud owner of a 67 Camaro SS race car.
Tammy, it's okay ... it takes a lot to scare me off! We both know how it is being ladies in a man's world LOL. I see ya set BigAl straight. Knowing the site's Marketing Director is on top of things just gives me more confidence that I've finally found a good home.
TazHog, maybe so.
Johns56, let me say thank you. Your post is what started this resurgence, and any interest is good interest! Albeit late, at least now you know they have high temp powders out there for exhaust applications.
BigDude, you're right -- it's just a 340. But a hemi someday would sure be sweet. (Besides, I can always use another Driving Award from local law enforcement. ;-))
Bill, SO AM I.
And in case I haven't said too much already, I can add that you've all got some fantastic looking rides!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!
Welcome CudaChick - I had to retype this three times my hands are so jittery. I will say it right out - you are gorgeous!! So there -- I done and said it. Good folks here and you are welcome.
Skeet (notice how I slipped that in there guys and Tammy)

Like a bunch of kids in a candy store. I'll try to have a little class here (which ain't easy for me!) and offer a kind and non-pickup-line welcome to Leanna. Hang out here all you like, you'll like it more everyday! And ignore the onslaught of horny old men who wouldn't let their wives see their posting!
it`s not my fault honey, honest. skeet started it , no, no i really mean it. and---and--- i just had to show them that you got a better catch than his wife, YEAH--YEAH that`s my story and i`m sticking to it!!! you`ll never get $20.00 from me shine, cause i`m just a smooth-talkin devil.
Well to welcome Leanna and Billy start pulling out your intakes and timing covers and send them down for a powder coating. They are also going to offer a raffle each month just for StreetRodding.com folks starting in August. Buy a raffle ticket, win a new intake and they will powder coate it any color you like. They have thousands to choose from and can custom match what they don't have! Details will follow soon.

Talk about thread revival! I kept reading only to find out your taken, Leanna! I haven't been this let down since Sandra Bullock hooked up with Jesse James! Oh wait...I'm taken too. Oh, well. Welcome to the site and thanks for the great information on Power Coating. Look forward to seeing you on the site.
I just came out and articulated what you rednecks were thinking all along. She is an attractive lady and I thought that I would make her feel welcome on this site. Relative to the "class statement" newlywed, since when is a compliment to a lady classless? Not in my part of the woods and the statement about your catch vs mine (you don't have a clue bubba). But Shine, my $20.00 IS in the mail

LMAO Skeet, just teasing all you old farts and trying not to scare our new friend away! Then again, not too long ago I would have been in there with y'all competing with Billy! Always good to have fun as long as Leanna is having fun too!
I don't want to speak out of turn, but I know Leanna is not unhappy about any of the comments. She is just hoping she and Billy can get things going in their new location. You may have heard her mention that she is a Hurricane victim. Read the info on their site as it is quite a story.
