Will be headed for the warm state of Fl. right after the holidays, we are staying on the east coast, West Palm beach, will visit our son on the west in Tampa. Question is were can I get some information on cruize nights, or shows ? I heard people talk about Old Town were is it and what night do they have the show? Thanks Joe

Willys33 You are RIGHT! It is 192 to old town. Getting old and starting to get brain fade. Dixie talks a lot about run at Dade City, i gotta go check this out, might see some cars i haven t seen before, sounds like good run.

Cruise Nights in Canada.....This happens every Friday night here in Victoria BC at a local shopping centre. There could be anywhere from 50 to 100 cars show up. Great toones, hamburgers, coffee and of course friendship. Have a look at the link and view the photo gallery. This coming year it is changing to Sat night mainly because the merchants in the centre are complaining that the cruise nights are hogging all the parking spaces. Great cruise nite at DADE CITY Ist sat of mo. 35 mi no of tampa come on up an i'll give you the royal cruise.Also the 27 0f Jan we have the Kumquat Festival fair& car show in the middle of town great time for all just ask anyone about it. IT would b well worth the drive,hope to see you. DIXIE {hanging out in FL}

Old Town is in Kissimme maybe an hour from Tampa. EVERY saturday night...... if Christmas eve or New Years Eve falls on saturday night, they still have cruise, and its free. Lot of nice cars to 1972 [1973 and newer cruise friday nights] I haven t been there in a while but have had up to 800+ cars on saturday night! From Tampa go toward Orlando and at highway 92/Kissimme exit get off, its right on 92, you can t miss the big ferris wheel or those crazy swings. They also have 2 pro stock cars that run on compressed air you can buy ticket for and race on a slot-car type track. 2 local mags with all cruises and events Cruise News and Cruisin Style. Cruise News is the best at letting you know ALL spots. They are free in some speed shops or a buck at their tent at Old Town. Daytona Speedway has Daytona U S A in front of race track, souviners, pit stop practice, etc. you can also take tour around track on tram or even ride in race car. Have Fun

I think Old Town is on Rt 192. Also Plant City holds a good cruise in on the third Sat. of each month and Dade City on the first Sat. of each month. Both draw lots of cars, good places to dat and of course the shows are free.

If you have acess to a computer check out www.cruisenewsonline.com or pick up a Mike Kelly's Cruise News at cruise night. Every Sat. nite in Lake Worth Kustoms and Rods have a cruise nite the K-Mart on Jog Rd. and Lantana Rd. or call 561 -585-6092
