I used a Brassworks radiator,3.5"core,2 10" electric pullers/shroud on my freshly built 36 Ford(SBC). I drove it about 100 miles around town, it stayed around 200 with AC on(around 100 ambient),fans running constantly. When I took it out on the highway, the temp started to steadily climb,I pulled off when it hit 220. Had to shut the motor off, run the fans, restart... to get the temp down. I switched to a 17" mechanical fan, Walker shroud, Walker radiator(thinner core), now it's 175-195, hotter at long idling but can quickly bring the temp down by increasing idle speed. I hope someone benefits from the mistakes I made. Bill :)
