I had a turn-key, pre-run engine/trans sent to the car manufacturer in Phoenix. Just picked up the car, everyone was extremely impressed with the Barrett motor. He dressed it up with the best stuff- he went far beyond what I expected (polished intake, chrome pan, comp cam kit,billet specialties pulleys and mounts...) He's a leading-edge builder and hot-rodder, a lot of fun to talk with. Buy with confidence !! Bill :)

At the Louisville Nat's last year I told Jon my engine was running badly and he volunteered to send one of his guys out to check it. I forget his guy's name but he listened to the engine, put his one hand on the motor, fiddled with the carb and walla... she started running better.....he could hear and feel what he was doing.... what a great bunch of guy's Al

hello, I've built my own motors for many years sending the machine work out and putting them together my self. many times i had to send stuff back because it wasn't good enough. anyway I lived in tulsa and had heard of jon for years I finnaly bought one cheaper than I could build one. and I'll never build another one and I don't work for him. Fact!

Thanks for that heads up. I've been giving serious thought to buying one of his engines. His prices are down right cheap compared to everything else I've seen.

Fanman, I spoke with Jon today- he has an unbelieveable new turn-key package. He really does it up right, makes sure that you get more than you planned on. For example, he told me he was going to put on Allen Grove, then decided that billet specialties looked better on the Vortec heads- then get this; he exchanged the Grove AC bracket I had purchased for the matching Billet Speciaties. The fuel pump was Holley, with braided lines.. nothing but first class. Once you speak with him, I'm sure you'll agree! Bill

Great guy , old time drag racer, still nostalgia races .Have one of his engines,he does a great job, whoever does his crating is outstanding. He also builds engines for Reggie Jackson . P.S.He still owes me a bag of BBQ dry rub.
