I am installing 99 Seville seats in my streetrod. There are an amazing number of wires. I'd like to pay someone to take the factory harness and turn it into something I can hook up. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies! I hope I’m replying correctly, this is my first time to try a discussion board. The seats are worth messing with; built in shoulder harnesses, dual heated, power lumbar. Other features are power headrest, memory, air bags, and who knows what else. Both leather seats and console were only $250! The main harness has 12 wires, plus there are 2 separate 2 wire connectors. I traced one of the two to the air bag, which I removed without problem. I asked the dealer to fax me a diagram- I received 4 pages, which are little help to me. Not like the ones I grew up with in the 70’s, with colored lines to follow. I’m going to ask the salvage yard for the entire harness. I took the entire computer harness from a suburban to a GM guy and he reworked it to run in my 55 Chevy. He said if he could get the right diagrams he might be able to do the same for the seats- if I can get the entire harness for console and both seats. Hope the salvage yard didn’t destroy them. All controls are in the seat except the memory set and the heater controls. Again, thanks.

i would think the harness should have a main hot and ground. are the controls on the seat or the door? much of the wiring will be alarms and seat buzzers. it may have seat heat. i would take a test light and find out what the wire were.

Shine's right..they may have all kinds of extras in there with heat, memory, climate controls, etc...stop by your local dealer and ask them if they would zerox you off a copy of the wiring schematics..worth a try..I do that for people if they ask me at work..sorry, only Fords...
