I want to use idiot lights for the oil pressure and water temp instead of gauges in a project we are doing. Small Block Chevy. Any ideas what senders to use and how to wire? Thanks.

use senders from mid to late 60's Chevys. as for wiring they are simple. the sender for the oil and temp are just grounds. run hot wire to one side of the lite and the sender (grd) to the other side. When temp is high or oil press low, they complete the circuit by grounding. The "gen" light wires to the voltage regulator, or to the small two wire plug on an alternator. check most any GM wire schematic in the Motors or Mtchell's manuals.
