Any one know if a 350 or 400 yoke will work in this transmission. Lots of them around, 200 yokes seem it be scarce.

When I shortened the half shafts from the vette rear for the 29 they had cardboard tubes inside them. I'm thinking for noise reduction. I shortened them also and put them back.

Had a long talk with a guy from Inland Empire about drive shaft vibrations. If you cruise the junk yards you will notice the newer cars have some strange looking shafts. Some are larger in diameter and some have harmonic balancers on them. This all came about with overdrive. Seems it puts the driveline in an RPM range that can cause harmonics. Larger/smaller diameter shafts, rotate the universal 180 degrees, put some expanding foam in the shaft, aluminum shaft and harmonic balancers have all had some success. Whats your best cure?
