 Still driving the wife's car, cause I am slow.
 
My good friend Dave Durocher of St. Catharines, Ontario, has just lost the love of his life. His best friend and constant companion, Wendy, was taken by a brain aneurism suddenly early this week. The two could be found at many car shows and cruises around Western New York and Southern Ontario. Wendy never got upset or turned us away when we showed up unexpected at their home, always had good things to say about everyone. She was the driving force behind Dave finishing his Merc and was also about 50% done on a matching '52 merc rag top of her own. It will be sad that she will not get to see it done. My sympathy to Dave and his family and prayers for strength while they need it the most.

Dave and Wendy cruised this flathead powered Merc all over.

DAVY,---MY WIFE AND I SHARE THE LOSS OF YOUR FRIENDS WIFE. WE RECENTLY LOST A FRIEND WHO WAS MARRIED TO A CLASS MATE OF MINE, TO THE SAME CAUSE OF DEATH.----IN FACT, MY WIFE, AUDREY, WAS UNDERGOING SURGERY TO STENT A CEREBRAL ANUERYSM WHEN HER STROKE OCCURRED. WE STILL DON`T KNOW HOW SUCESSFUL THE SURGERY WAS.---THE MORAL,I GUESS,NOTHING IS PROMISED. So sorry for Dave'e loss. All of us know that we probably won't pass together and no one wants to be the one left behind. I will pray for him and his family.
