I finally purchased my Uncle's 1932 Plymouth PA 2 door sedan from him. I have been bugging him since I was 8 years old and now am 40something. Anyway I am doing research on the engine that he has in it to see what kinda hp it has. From the casting numbers on the block (3858174) it's a small journal 327 and the heads are 3782461 with a manufactoring date of K134 (nov 13, 1964). It has a 4160 Holley Carb. I asked him what cam is in it but that was long ago and thought it was a RV cam. Also he couldn't remember but thought he had it bored .030 over. He told me he won the engine in a poker game, 327 up against a farm tractor so he didn't know much about the engine. Something about alot adult beverages that night. Any thoughts or info on the engine would be greatly appreciated. Steve |
