Yeah, there are hydrogen injector systems that do work if the car's computer is reprogrammed. However, even the most legitimate of the systems will not yield but a 5-15% actual improvement in gas mileage. Just about the same as one would get from driving 60 mph instead of 70 mph. With all the hydrogen generators that work being rather pricey it's a lot cheaper to do a weight reduction of the right foot.

learning how to drive can get you more than that. my bride has gone from 24 to 27+ in her chrysler 300. dont be fooled by the 60 instead of 70 thing. not always true. my friends pt cruzer will get around 25 at 60-65. at 70 it will get 28+. it does better at 25 to 3k rpm. smaller cars need to keep the revs up to make the millage . too hard to pull back up from 2k .
what kills me is there will be thousands who buy into this thing. go figure.

My boss showed me a video on You Tube on a hydrogen generator that was built and attached to the car same device was used on a lawn mower it is using the hydrogen gas ,on the car he has the a line from the generator to the intake tube between the filter and the mass flow air sensor, there is a guy that has a ford escort and 2 other vehicles that run on pure hydrogen it was on the news about a year ago, the same guy has a contract with the US ARMY to outfit some HUM VEEs He is from the ST.PETE/TAMPA area,if this is the same guy he invented /patented a machine for Hydrogen Gas WELDING/SOLDERING it is electric but you use distilled water. the machine extracts the hydrogen from the water in a instant , one was brought for us to try out it produces a hotter flame then Oxy/Acetylene its amazing no oxygen and acetylene tanks to deal with, it was not cheap when i first used it first thing that came to my mind it would be neat to have a car run on this 7 years later it is happenig
what is the fuel savings is Bubbaearl & Cooter push the truck, relative to the weight gain of carrying them (and their Budweiser and Pork Rinds) around.

Al around here there are guys making their own bio diesel and spending as little at $1.60 for the home brewed stuff. As for the hydrogen, I saw on TV that some locals are working on this and so far they have created hydrogen and the design is for a unit that converts the water as you need hydrogen and they can even recapture the exhaust to use again. I think this sounds like a great fuel solution if it would work.

I also saw that guy from Tampa/St. Pete on national TV news about a year ago demonstrating the system as installed on a typical family car. There is a lot more to what he has designed than what the con artists are pushing. If I remember during that news show he indicated the cost was something between 2 and 3 grand, but of course that was before any mass production. They did mention the evaluation contract with the Army.
