with all the rain we have had in past month so sure don't need more.I have lived on Tampa Bay for last 36 years and only time I seen water on our street was about 2'deep when a hurricane set off shore for three days.If it comes there is nothing anyone can do to stop it so why worry about if.We are hoping it goes more to west and everone is clear.

We'll take it! With only 2-1/2 inches of rain since mid March we'd be happy to see some major thunderstorms from a small hurricane or tropical storm.

Our little hurricane we had a couple of weeks ago was a dud. We got just a small amount of rain. We could use a little more here. Good luck to Ya'll in Florida.

Spent twenty years in Florida, and that's one thing I sure don't miss.

Hunker down if you have to Chris, otherwise just split.........

Good luck.

With five of the eight computer models indicating a storm track headed to the Florida Panhandle and even as far West as Mobile it looks like the Western Florida coast will be spared a direct hit. Destin and Pensacola might be in for a rough time of it.

Cat 1 at best - gonna be a weenie storm. Big Al out on Clearwater Beach may have some issues, but us inland don't care a bit. Be safe! MC

The path as of 9;00am has moved further east possibly over Orlando ,it will be a minimal hurricane but you have to be alert for tornados

Yep Cris-- We got closed down tomorrow. I'm on call and have to go in a partial day at least... Not like you get any warning about tornados in Florida... They just hit and run.

The heaviest damage was by the airport with fatalities it was days after before traffic flow was allowed ,it looked like a war zone there was even a red Toyota 4x4 in a tree mangled like a pretzel, there was a mobile home missing in Geneva they found it miles down the river the occupants remains were found later, this morning there have been reports of tornadoes and damage, its not in my back yard yet, sellersrodshop how long has it been since you moved?

I live in Orlando --- hurricane was a dud. Some rain and a litle wind. Its 12 36 p.m.here now wednesday afternoon. Not raining and a little breeze. Retired from electric company after 31 years in 2005. Only 53 years old, moved to Orlando in 1959 at 5 years old. Have seen some doozies of a hurricane since than. Would rather have a hurricane than a tornado, THOSE are more dangerous.

That's actually strange for St. Augustine. They tend to NEVER take direct hits. But then again this isn't a real storm anyway. Just a big rain maker.
