Rich,

On Mondays we have a cruise-in at "Double Deckers" restaurant, off the intersection of Hwy 42 & Pleasant Valley rd. About 5 miles west of I-71/75. 6-8PM

Take 275 East from the airport, South on I-71/75 to Hwy 42, turn right (West) on 42.

There is a UDF (like a 7-11), Marathon gas station at the corner of 42, just past the stop light at Pleastant Valley rd., turn right there, then a quick left.

Look up on the hill behind the strip mall.

On Tuesdays it's at "Filmores" restaurant, on Hwy 18, about a mile East of I-71'75 on the left side of the road. Hwy 18 is the exit just before Hwy 42 exit, going South on I-71/75.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town M-wed this coming week.

This afternoon from 4-11PM our Country Cruisers Car Club, is putting on a big show at Cold Springs, Ky. Have a Oldies band playing at 8PM, so I'm on my way shortly for that one. Wish you could be here today, would be great to meet you.

Like I said, I will be out of town, but heres' my cell # if you get lost - - 859-466-4263.

Oops - one more I forgot about - "Muggbees" on Wed. It's also on Hwy 42 (Exit # 180) west of I-71/75 about 1-2 miles on the left side of the road.
These are all about a 15-20 minute ride from the airport area.
By the way, the airport is actually "in" Kentucky!!
Have a blast

Thanks Bob, I really appreciate it. We're both car guys and are looking forward to it. As you said, too bad you'll be out of town, it would have been nice to meet you.

Thanks again Bob, Double Decker & Filmore were both good shows and the Filmore was only a mile from the hotel. Muggbees only had 6 cars so didn't hang around. Here's some highlights from Double Decker.

Rich, glad you had a good visit to the area.

You must be in law enforcement 'cause you've captured "all the usual suspects" with your camera

This is a great group of folks here, some are multiple car owners, and some of the wives have their own cars too!!

Parked 264 cars last weekend at our show, wore me out! Have another this weekend down in Newport.

Most always something going on "here 'bouts." Hope to be able to meet up with you next time you're in town.

Bob, they seem like a good group, I talked with the guy with the purple '38 Chevy (what a beautifully done car!) for a good 30 minutes and he was a great tour guide. The blue '57(outstanding car) at Double Decker was a new guy just moved from Michigan and his first time there, real nice kid.
