A friend of mine bought a 76 -350 that needed a harmonic balancer bolt , went to local parts store and got the 7/16 by 20 bolt but was to big and an 1/2 inch to small . What should he do? Thanks again for the help Richard.

I think it was Carquest . We both would not purchase anything from the Zone are Advance and never Reillys. ha. ha.

Try an automotive machine shop they've probably got one laying around from a scrapped engine.
