Several weeks ago I had a bad storm, same time tammy did, and a huge pine tree almost hit my street rod garage. I was lucky. Guess what? Had another one nite before last and almost had the same scenerio. Limbs broke and fell on the roof but no damage. tree had to be removed today - apparently was killed when it was hit by the pine tree and broke out the center-top (couldn't see it. I am getting tired of paying tree surgeons my rod money.

ANYBODY NEED FIRE WOOD (IN 105 DEGREE WEATHER)?

Hey Skeet--- 1 good thing about it.

U'r gonna have a whole bunch more light comin in them windows now.

Lots easier to work with natural light!

If yer gonna fix the roof -look into putting some skylights in.

Skeet I am with ya brother. Thank the Lord you are O.K. and your family is O.K. and your street rod is O.K.

I am beginning to think that it is better to have the trees far from the house. I hate the extreme sun beating down but those storms are wicked! So glad to hear you are safe.

Look...that stump is showing you the "V" for victory sign. Glad you didn't get any serious damage or injuries. Looks like the threat has been removed.

Thanks everybody for your kind thoughts. I know that my life is blessed, and this is just another reason to be thankful - regardless of what rat fink from oslow or wherever it is says about God being alive and well in the greatest country in the world. I may just keep that stump to remind me of "what could have been".

For sure the trees won't get my garage.
