man,,,so much for a quick job..this turned into the car from hell......me being as stupid as possible latley,all i had to do was shoot the back dore,and the trunk...well...3 guns later,finally got it done,but forgot to cover the inside...got clear all over the inside..seats are leather?..gray...need advise..badly,never happened before...tks

be careful what you use to break down the clear coat. The dye will come off the seats if you use any solvent.

If you have used a leather cleaner/protectorate on the seats before you may be lucky and the clear coat is only stuck to the residue of those products. I'd try using Tanner's Preserve leather cleaner before I did any thing drastic. What you think is a major problem may only be a minor cleaning problem.

I would suggest that you contact one of the seat builders who support this site. They would know for sure - I imagine Don 34 would know also. I had a guy who was doing a little work on my custom dyed leather seats , who accidentally got some grease on my drivers seat
t, try to remove it with KEROSENE!!! Yep, kerosene. Needless to say it removed the paint - had to have the entire seat set redone so that they would match.
Regardless, good luck with the removal.
