Last time I saw a group like that was on America's Most Wanted!! :-). Met some of the group before so I know you are having a great time. Wish I was there. I don't know how the weather is there but, if what I have here is heading your way, get inside the buildings and stay cool. Excessive heat warning of 105-115 until Monday here. Have fun no matter what and keep the updates coming.

Tammy, just a thought, would it be possible to send the banner with someone that would be going to the Frog Follies? From there,if needed,I could take it and have it for the Tin Dusters in Quincy if there were no other shows between then and now. Were you planning on making the Jville show? If so,it could change hands there also if needed. just a thought. That way maybe more people could get together by knowing where everone was.

YeAH, LET US KNOW WHO THE FOLKS ARE SO WE CAN BEGIN TO PUT FACES WITH CARS AND COMMENTS. Have a great time at the nats and send us a few more pics if you have a moment. Maybe more can come next year. It is 105 degrees in West Monroe right now - straight out heat - not index. That's really warm. Take care all of you and have a great time and be safe coming home.

I will revise the picture when I get home to add names. As for the banner, I will be happy to send the banner and I might see if we can get more than one so we can handle multiple shows. I did not put it up at this event because we can get in trouble for "advertising" when we are not paying for a booth. I must say the NSRA has been wonderful to us and I will be doing some great things with these pictures. Look for me to send them Monday because the Holiday Inn has SSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWW connection speed.

Oh and Pat, yes I will plan to drive to Jacksonville and can give you the banner there.

Got home today about 8pm--met Tammy and the group and a couple more that missed the meet and greet. Great bunch--talked and had a good time. Met Steve Sellers parents at the PPG tent--very nice folks and beautiful truck..Also MacMillon rod had booth there--stopped by and said HI None of us won the car. Weather was great--had 10,711 entrants. Down a tad from last year but still pretty good turnout. I am off the bed--worn out. Later

Ty do you think you might have forgotten to click add your comment? I have done that a couple of times. Eriq always says the trick is if you have plenty to say write it in notepad or word and then you can simply copy it again if it gets lost.

well, i'm back home too. any of you that know me well will testify i don't complain much, but had issues as soon as i arrived yesterday. i had pop get my registration packet since he went early to set up in the PPG booth. when i arrived yesterday afternoon, BJ brought my packet out to me. no problem until one of the "rent-a cops" decided that we were trying to sneak in & snatched the buttons. wouldn't look at the registration to verify or get an nsra rep to settle the matter. was even gonna take BJ's button until she saw it was an "exibitor" button (swapped out by PPG for early building entry) & probably was smart enough to know that would be trouble. so had to pay $28 to get in yesterday on top of the reg. registration. not, the $$$, just the principle, so didn't buy the two event shirts that i buy every year at the nats, didn't renew my membership at the nats, again something i do every year & might "miss" a couple regionals i usually attend each year, so they are the one's who will lose out in the long run.

wanted to hook up with dave hughes today, but my bad back issues flared up last night, so ended up doing my parts shopping this morning & had to head for home before the pain got too bad. (we'll hook up at the next one dave )

steve I hate to hear that crap about the rent a cop.. Nothing more frustating then being hassled by someone that dont know whats going on to start with.. Sounds like you handled it better than I because I would most likely still be in the louisville jail..Anyway sorry I missed you- I did check out your Dads truck and it looked OUTSTANDING.. Thanks for the call and the offer before the show..I really appreciate it. See you soon. I am sure..

Many more photos are coming. I had some camera issues that I did not notice until I downloaded them last night upon our return. I will try to send 1/2 of them early today and the rest by closing time. -BTW I second that compliment on Steve's Dad's Truck, I met him and he is a great guy with a beautiful ride!

Steve, this is not the first time I've heard of that happening. Last year it happened to a friend of mine by one of Louisvilles Finest who was moonlighting as a 'rent a cop" for the NSRA. Threatened to take him downtown to the Central Lock Up. I'm like Dave, don't know if I would have handled it as well as you did. I would try to get a refund from the NSRA.

Brian - great pictures of the Nats. Isn't it amazing what these new digital cameras can do to make us look like pro photographers. Appears there were some sweet rides there this year although it was a steamer weather wise. Thanks again for the pictures.
