Where can i buy a steering rag joint for a MII manual rack? NAPA sells a rebuild kit but it does not come with the coupling i need ,likely the splines on the shaft are not damage just a little wear i measured it with a dial caliper it measures .530 , the coupling is shot its at least .060 bigger, the splines are almost gone

Both Summit Racing and Jegs show them on their sites.

if you are using the rag joint in ANY angle other than straight it will NOT last. Its purpose is to absorb vibration, not flex. Borgenson and Flamin Rivers both make the correct u-joint and/or u-joint vibration dampner together. we stock them. just need to know if manual or power rack and what the end of yoyr Ford shaft is, then most good rod parts dealers will be able to provide the pieces. A new rag joint is also available from either Borgenson or Flamin Rivers if that's what you want

Well it is a 3 hole mounting point and it is a manual rack you are right about being straight i suspected it may have been the culprit of the wear the steering was setup by a rod shop some years ago according to the previous owner, its a 9/16'x 26 spline
