I have a Classic Motor Carriages '33 Vicky. I had an unfortunate encounter with a garage door and broke the license plate/backup light fixture. It is rectangular chrome, approximately 12" x 1-1/4". I've been told it is similar to a 356 Porche "shine down" light. Does anyone know where I might buy this?

I am also looking for replacement wiper blades. They are straight, 8" long in a metal carrier. Any idea of a source?

Can't help with the Street Beast license plate thing, but a "GOOD" parts house will stock those wiper blades. I'm not referring to a chain store, I'm talking about one of those local parts houses that have been around for 50 years and don't look everything up on a computer... know what I mean? Just got one of those wipers for my Model A!

Though they went out of business in 1995 parts are supposedly available by E-Mail or phone.

Regarding the wiper blades, I buy refills at Auto Zone which need to be cut down but thats no big deal. It's much cheaper then buying new blades from a streetrod vendor. Never recall seeing a license plate frame with a back up light. I've had a couple with a 3rd brake light though. Try Billet Specialties or Yogi's.

My single blade cost $6.50. Thought it was pretty reasonable, but I'll bet the vendors get big $$$ for 'em!

If you think it is a Porsche 356 part...you might contact Parts Heaven (http://www.partsheaven.com/) or Pelican Parts (http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/catalog.htm).

Thanks to all who resopnded. I should have mentioned in my original I had already (unsuccessfully) followed up with COC and StreetBeasts. for the wiper blade replacements, I haven't persued the boat connection yet.

The bottom line is there is still no joy in Mudville, so any other ideas will be appreciated.

Got a picture of it, maybe someone here might have seen it without knowing that this is what you are looking for.

JAWS:

Good idea...here is a picture of wiper blade. A picture of the backup/license plate light will follow.

P.S. "COC" was supposed to be "CMC," Classic Motor Carriages

I've never seen anything aftermarket that even looks close to that. Most streetrod license plate light frames I've seen or used were billet. You would think StreetBeast could tell you who the vendor is. It's obvious the way its built in to the body contour its StreetBeast specific. Some how the thought of StreetBeast using a Porsche part made in Germany just doesn't sound right.
