When the weather is crappy or in the "off season" one of the things I enjoy is building 1/24th scale model cars and trucks. Ever since I was knee high to the prairie mosquito I've been involved in this hobby. It's a great way to hone alot of your skills and also a great way to learn about the cars you're building. Not to mention the fact that it can be a great way to introduce the car hobby to the younger generation. Alot of folks seem to be turning to the DIE CAST type of model car but it's just not the same. You can't get glue and paint all over the place with those things. Check out some of my better jobbies.

My dad got me goin on models waaaaayy back there somewhere in time... He's now into trains, but builds and paints them to his liking... If it has wings or wheels, I've probably built at least one or more of them... Haven't touched any "plastic in several years tho, but I have over 100 kits in the closet waiting for me... Great detail on the Plum Crazy Mopar engine bay!

Fine collection Russ, great way to keep warm in the winter, which we just know is really really long in New Brunswick.

Russ those are some beauties!!! Bennie should be posting soon. He makes some great stuff from scratch using wood and even makes the town to go with it. Check out the post called Old Theater Update for his latest theater. It would make a cool background for any of your collection.
