Something skinny with a wad of something on it and a hose. Or just leaveit to nature, assuming you have stock drain holes.

I don't think I'd be leaving it to nature. Nature only knows one thing, rust. A decent set of ramps and a good hose nozzle should make for an adequate cleaning to keep crud from building up and setting up the perfect environment for rust.
Larry, I had a friend help me modify my grill. We took everything apart and he welded two rods to the top of the grill and I drilled to holes in the grill shell for them to go into. Then he welded two nuts on the bottom and I drilled two small holes for the two screws to go up from under the grill shell. Now I can take the grill out from the front and clean that bottom and entire inside. Of course I run a screen on the front of the grill to keep most of those pesky bugs out. You can always take the screen off after you get where you are going. It sure makes it a lot nicer now to keep it clean! Tom
