there was a post here couple of months ago about a run in Louisiana sometime around mid Feb, anyone remember when or where???

There is the "Coonass Redneck Nationals" in Hammond but I'm not sure when.... al

Coonass Nationals are in mid August.

Yeah, there's the calcasieu rod run in Feb 18-19-20. I was there last year, Had about 100-120 cars and me and my son enjoyed our selves tremendously. They had the Valve cover races, and that was some intense racing.. LOL You can call 337-625-5429 Robert Aguillard.



Would be there this year, but Santa brought a bitchin floor for my 38, so I'm in the mist of that. Fun Fun.. LOL

I saw Randy Wilson at another rod run that I always attend in Jasper, Texas. It's put on by the Lake Area Cruisers. I do believe he said this change was permanent. (Redneck Nats. in April)

yep...the coonass is a fun one... Also going to make the Calcasieu run at the end of feb. Just wondering how this popped up yesterday...thread started in '05??

Could you give the info about the Feb run - where, when, who to talk to etc. I live in northeast Louisiana and if finished, may be able to get down there, wherever down there is and when. Thanks

Skeet, hard to believe a Louisana boy as yourself has never been to the Coonass Redneck Nationals. Better get yourself down to Hammond, it's likely to be the most fun you'll have all year....maybe ever.



Carl...is this a permanent change to April or just for this year? Gotta admit it's just a little sweaty down there in mid-August. April might be a nice change.
