I have a 1991 Chevy 1500 4X4 that has a 700r4 tranny in it. Currently, I can only get it to move if I rev the rpm's way up and then it only moves a little. I have changed the filter and fluid- anybody have any suggestions on what I need to do?

Chris, my question is, did it do this before you changed the fluid and filter? Reason is, the 4X4 filter and pans are deaper than the passenger car pan and filter combo. Puta passenger car filter on a 4X4 and add 4 qts....= no go. Also make sure that you got the old filter seal out of the case. If not, your new filter did install all the way , which will make it suck air...and or fall off. Hope this helps.
