Where on a 327 chevy block would I find the date of manufacture? I want to be able to point it out the California DMV when I go in to change over the Colorado title. Chevy quit producing the 327 before 1975...right?

Check out www.mortec.com for information. They list everything you need to verify castings on Chevy motors.

The 327 was dropped in 1969. Check the engine casting numbers to get a year of mfg. http://www.mortec.com/castnum.htm
