Hey, how about a couple dabs of superglue? Probably even cheaper! Ha!
Seriously, a good law. Should be passed in all states including here in Texas. What a bunch of idiots out there who can't drive to begin with, let alone while talking on a cell phone. Had a guy hanging in the fast lane the other day for about two miles while on the phone. When he finally looked in his mirror and realized he had traffic backed up, he went to get back into the right lane (while still on the phone) and almost took out another car - and I wasn't even tailgating him like I might have done when I was younger.
Yeah, I wish they had that law here in the mid atlantic, espescially MD, PA and DE. To many idiots yakking away without a clue as to what is happening around them.
Seriously, folks......Washington DC enacted a "no hands" law 5 years ago. Cell acidents increased. It is your brain & emotions that are connected to the phone.....the steering wheel is no longer connected to the brain.
We see the dumbest things happen when a driver is talking. Guy called me about a '32 Ford grill last December. I heard traffic. Asked him to pull over.....too late....CRASH !! He hit the rear of a dually....crushed both legs 2 days before Chrismas. All over $150...dumb. Bob's fresh '37 got crashed at Nat's East by a cell user talking to his grandson.
PULL OVER and talk or let it ring. The caller's number is in there. 2 minutes can't make a diff. Happy Bang
I agree with Jim. Hands-free requirement legislation should be passed in all states. People are incredibly lazy and inconsiderate. If they are using the cell phone, they stop using their turn signals!
