Is it just me, or have a lot of the discussions on this site become pissing and moaning about how bad things are or how we're always getting screwed by somebody, some vendor, or some charity? Not much to respond to anymore! What happened to car talk?

Getting screwed by a parts vendor is car talk! And warnings about unscrupulous dealers or poor quality parts and service should be welcome news to us folks on limited budgets! My2cents.

Pssst... I just posted a new thread about RADIATORS and FANS! Shhh, don't tell anyone it's car related! I think the mentality in the nation is depressed and when we're down we like to bitch and moan. Sure seems that many of us (me included) have participated in less than uplifting conversations here lately.


Speaking of car talk, where's all the pictures of LARS?

Didn't mean we can't bitch. Like Eric said - maybe the attitude of the entire nation is down in the dumps. Of course a part of any car talk forum includes talkin bout bad products and vendors. Just seems there is a lot of non-car negative discussion as well. IMHO

Careful Robert anti-Whiner movements are apparently not well embraced around here. Anything touching on individuals personally taking any responsibility in a transaction should be cleared through Whiner Central first.

Don't go getting your panties in a wad. Like everything else in this world it's cyclical. Car talk, followed by complaining about vendors, then bitching about the Greedguys and their likes, and then getting nasty with each other, followed by whining , and finally back to car talk. Hang in there we're almost back to the car talk part once again. LOL



PS, not all sessions are in that order, but most parts are at least covered at some point in the cycle. ;-)

Over the years, just about any kind of problem or issue about cars has been discussed. On some sites they don't even discuss it anymore but refer you to an archive search. At least here, when they switched to the new format, many of the older discussions were lost, so the archive has less depth. That means that car problems and issues are likely to be discussed and responses forthcoming because there may be no archive to send you to.

If there are no current discussions of interest, all you have to do is start a new thread about a car problem or topic and wait for the responses. I'll be watching! LOL
