Guys, what has happened to the civility of this forum lately? You guys are all rodders at heart and you should all be using this forum to promote your common interest in street rods yet we continue to see people sniping at each other like a bunch of children. Please remember that you guys are all part of a community with a common love of old cars. Please use this forum to promote that interest and not to attack one another. Here at StreetRodding.com we don't care who's right in these posts or who's being mean, we just want it to stop. Our goal is to provide a place where you guys can come and check out cars, ask questions, show off your rides, etc. we will do what we have to to make sure these forums maintain a high level of civility toward each other.

I agree with you about the civility issue. I have to deal with enough of that mess at work and coming on this site allows me to relax and enjoy. Not to say that a little good natured punch swapping isn't a good and righteous thing 'cause it is. A genuine difference of opinion should be tolerated and respected and subject to debate but name calling serves no real purpose (except that done in fun). Just my opinion. If the bickering were in a bar, the owner would tell you to take it outside so that you don't bother the other customers or damage the property. The guy sitting next to me at a red light with a 5000 watt stereo system cranked up to that he can abuse me with HIS music is comparable and is also not one of my favorite human beings. Same thing here. Trade email addresses or phone numbers and take it off line if you want to vebally abuse each other. The rest of us don't need to be exposed to it.
