Hoping someone has done this.Ive been wrenching for 45 years,done many conversions,but,this one looks tight,Rather ask questions than jump in blind.THANKS

I wouldn't think there would be any problem. The T-Bird from which the 3.8 came from was also on the FOX body. Every engine put in that body was real close.

Want to make it a real honker drop a 5.8L roller motor from a '94-'97 E-150 or F-250 into it. Should fit just fine and the end result would basically be comparable to a Saleen Mustang of the same general era. You would need the lower and upper intakes from an '87-92 Lincoln Mark VII 5.0L H.O. unless you wanted to see the truck upper intake sticking out of the hood. The tuned stainless steel exhaust headers from the Lincoln would also be a good idea.

Ronnie, you might also try the forum on stangbangerz.com. This a mustang club fron Cincinnati,ohio. This is the car they built for the pinks show . I am sure someone can help you there.
